Updating bios asus 1215n Chatrandom cam busy

Create a folder like 'bios' on your hard drive for the unzipped bios file. Some people will copy the bios file to a USB drive for flashing, but I prefer to skip this step and just load the bios file straight from the hard drive. Enter the bios using the 'F2' key as soon as you power on the notebook. Can anyone from Asus confirm what other fixes are included other than the CPU throttle fix. Flashing the bios with Win7 and Win8 is not very different except maybe the process to enter the bios.Unfortunately, I don't have more information about the G750Jw 208 bios updates, so if you aren't interested in the battery performance issue I would skip it.Can anyone give me a step by step guide on updating the G750 BIOS, this may come in handy for the less BIOS confident users among us.

Don't try this unless you have a good reason to update your bios and can take the chance of killing your system (if necessary, wait until there is a better time to try this). Make sure your battery is charged and your AC adapter is plugged in before trying this. Don't try this in the middle of a lightning storm or when there are potential disruptions (wait for them to pass). If your system is having hardware problems like lock-ups, overheating, bluescreens, etc., it's more likely your bios flash will fail, so avoid flashing the bios if you see any of these problems and try to fix them first in other ways. Download the bios file for your notebook from the ASUS download site and unzip the bios file.

The right area will show the contents of the drive you selected on the left and you can use the arrow keys to switch between them. Once you found the unzipped bios file you want to use and selected it, the system will show the model/platform of the new bios as well as other details.

Make sure the model/platform matches before you say 'Yes' to start the bios flash process allowing time for the process to complete and automatically power off on its own.
